Capitol Records in Sweden recently ran a special competition with ZTV (their local equivalent to MTV) and trendy clothing store SOLO to design a Maiden t shirt.
MAGNUS ELOFSSON's entry won, and was printed on 200 Black shirts, which were sold through 6 Swedish Solo Stores.
Apparently, Magnus drawing immediately caught the attention of the jury in the TV show "Wimans" on ZTV and it was a really easy decision. Magnus said it was "the competition that I´ve been waiting for in my whole life" and that made the choice of winner even more obvious as he's a guy who lives, breathes and loves Maiden above all.
His drawing is a highly detailed, very evil looking Eddie painted in a original way but with all the characteristics that makes Eddie the Eddie we all know and love.

der Typ hat aber anscheinend zu oft Gremlins gesehen.

P.S.: Vielleicht kann man das Bild als Bügelfolie auf ein Shirt bringen. Ist zwar nicht so gut wie ein Original aber just for fun genügt es doch.

So, die ersten Kontakte sind geknüpft. Hoffentlich ergibt sich was draus. Sollte es klappen, dass ich das t-Shirt bekomme, versuche ich selbstverständlich auch mehr als ein oder zwei zu bekommen.
