IRON MAIDEN, METALLICA, WITHIN TEMPTATION, STONE SOUR and BLOODSIMPLE are among the confirmed bands for the Bilbao BBK Live Festival 2007, set to take place June 21-22 and June 28-29 in Bilbao, Euskal Herria, Spain. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

Scheint ein absolut geiles Festival zu sein, zudem an einer sonnigen, froehlichen Location. Iron maiden ist das geilste, aber Within Temptation sind auch dabei, dann noch die Red Hot chili peppers und auch metallica. Und jede menge spanische Bands, die mir nichts sagen, wuerde ich gerne hinfahren

Gerüchten zufolge (youtube, hbtn from abbey road) spielen Iron Maiden dieses Jahr auch noch in Südamerika (Peru):
"soon Iron maiden in Lima on october 29 2007 national Stadium!!!"
Die Jungs und Mädels dort hätten's aufgrund ihrer Begeisterung für Maiden auf jeden Fall verdient. Und wenn das tatsächlich stimmt mit diesem Gig, dann wird's Ende des Jahres bestimmt nicht nur bei dem einen Gig bleiben, sondern es wird ein weiterer kleiner Tour-Abschnitt sein, bevor dann die schon lange heiß erwartete History-Part-II-DVD rauskommt.

Maiden confirmed for Spanish festival appearance Published: April 2, 2007
We are pleased to confirm that Iron Maiden will headlining the Bilbao BBK Live Festival on Thursday June 21st in Spain as part of their continuing Matter of Life and Death World Tour date throughout June.
Other artists featuring on the Iron Maiden bill that day are Within Temptation, Mastadon, Stone Sour and Juliette and the Licks.
The festival is a four day event and more information about other artists appearing at the festival on other days can be found on the official website http://www.bilbaobbklive.com as well as links to buy tickets and information about the festival itself.
