Ich glaub diese songs sind enthalten alles was ich an maiden liebe, auch wenn im durchschnitt alle sehr lang sind.

Ganz schwer, gebe lieber mal meine lieblingssongs von jedem album einzeln an:
1.) Prowler (starker, rockiger Song, den ich immer wieder gerne hoere und zudem repraesentativ fuer das debut-Album)
2.) Murders in the rue morgue: staerkster Song ueberhaupt mit Paul, melodisches Intro, ein guter Text nach der geschichte von edgar Allan Poe (empfehlenswerter autor) und einfach mitreissend, wuerde das Stueck gerne mal live hoeren)
3.) Run to the hills: Ganz knapp vor dem genialen Hallowed be thy name, aber ich find Bruce Gesang hier noch staerker, der song ist eine richtige mitsinghymne und allein das Drumintro ist richtig geil)
4.) Still life: Atmosphaerisch, duester, ein richtiges Juwel
5.) Rime of the ancient mariner: Komplex, majestaetuisch, mit vielen Stimmungswechseln, vor allem live ueberragend wenn nach dem Mittelteil, bei dem ich immer noch Gaensehaut bekomme, der Gesang wieder einsetzt, die Drums lauter werden und das herzzerreissende Solo startet, ganz grosses Kino
6.) Alexander the great; Setzt sich knapp gegen Wasted years durch, setzt einem experimentellen album am ende die Krone auf und historische Texte finde ich ohnehin stark
7.) The evil that men do: Die letzte richtig starke Single (abgesehen von Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg), ein wunderbarer Text und glaenzend aufgelegter Bruce
8.) No prayer for the dying: Oft unterbewertete Hymne, voller Emotionen mit einer der schoensten Melodien der Bandgeschichte
9.)Fear of the dark: Ueberragender Text, ueberragende Stimmung, uebberragender Song, grandios!
10.) Sign of the cross: Kommt vor allem live (Rock in Rio) stark rueber und Blaze gesang passt hier perfekt, vor allem die Instrumentalparts sind goettlich, zudem einer der geilsten Texte der Neunziger-Alben
11.) When two worlds collide: Mitreissendr Gesang, geniales Solo und eine unnachahmliche Stimmung, die mich jedes Mal ergreift.
12.) Dream of mirrors: Gewinnt ganz knapp gegen den Titeltrack, bester Song aus Gers' Feder
13.) No more lies: Mitreissende Soli, toller Gesang, eine der staerksten Tracks ueberhaupt
14.) Reincarnation of Benjamin breeg: Auf dem album sind viele gleichwertig starke Songs und es ist schwer einen dort herauszunhmen, aber der Song (hat lange gedauert, bis er bei mir gezuendet hat) besticht durch ein ueberragendes Bassspiel und Nickos bestem Drumming seit Where eagles dare!

Ganz wichtig: Den Song "Virus2 halte ich fuer einen der staerksten aus der aera mit blaze, toller Gesang mit einer genialen Melodie und auch das bedrohliche Intro, was den genialen Beginn wie eine Apokalypse ankuendigt finde ich gut. Hier meine aktuelle gesamt-To-10
