Ja, fragt sich aber, ob das dann nächstes Jahr nochmal die selbe Tour ist mit MP komplett... Ich denke, das wird dann ne normale Album Tour mit den üblichen Klassikern plus ein paar selteneren Songs.
Hm... Waere schade wenn sie MP nicht mitbringen wuerden. Andererseits ist mir bei Rush die Setlist auch egal, ich will diese Band einfach erleben

Joa, zumal sie dann wahrscheinlich sowieso 3-4 Songs vom Album in der Setlist hätten, also kein Weltuntergang. Ich persönlich würde mir sowieso lieber Permanent Waves komplett wünschen
Die Tour werde ich mir auch nicht entgehen lassen.
Ich habe Rush auf der Snakes & Arrows-Tour gesehen und war begeistert. Was mir schonmal gefällt, dass wieder die Setlist so verändert wurde. Immer was Neues
Angeblich soll es jetzt ein 2. Leg der Time Machine Tour (inkl. Europa) geben, weil die Tour so erfolgreich war. Das würde heißen, dass das neue Album noch länger auf sich warten lässt, aber ich persönlich würde mich unglaublich freuen, wenn die mit der Tour auch zu uns kommen!! Ist halt aber alles nur ein Gerücht...

This jibes with Geddy's comments regarding the new album in his TV UOL interview. It also seems to lend some weight to the rumors of a second Time Machine Tour leg.
Eine solche Set-List kannst Du nur noch toppen, indem Du 2112 komplett spielst. Und auch wenn Maiden meine Lieblings-Band ist, Rush sind die Größten. Seit 1984 bin ich wie gefesselt von ihnen. Und dann 1992 endlich das erste Mal live gesehen. Unglaublich. Die GIs in Amerika hatten die Festhalle in Frankfurt in ein Tollhaus verwandelt. Einfach sensationell.
Und das die "alten Herren" noch immer 3 Stunden auf der Bühne stehen und rocken ist einfach unbeschreiblich (ein kleiner Seitenhieb auf Maiden und ihre achtklassigen Vorbands sei erlaubt).

Bezüglich der ~3 Stunden Setlist: Das machen Rush aber soweit ich weiß schon seit den Anfängen so, also sie haben sich quasi dran gewöhnt und kennen es nicht anders. (hat Alex mal in nem deutschen Interview gesagt, müsste irgendwo auf Youtube sein) Die Jungs haben aber auch wirklich noch unglaublich Spaß daran live zu spielen (sieht man ihnen wirklich an) und ich denke nicht, dass die Kohle da groß ne Rolle spielt.
Ja, Rush sind eine der wenigen Bands denen man den Spaß wirklich zu 100% abkauft. Gegen einen 2. Teil der Time Machine Tour haette ich ja mal ueberhaupt nix

Als ich sie in den 90ern gesehen haben, war das mit Vorgruppe. Primus. Tolle Musiker, fürchterliche Musik. Meines Wissens ging das Konzert damals 120 Minuten. Aber egal wie. Was sie heute immer noch leisten ist überirdisch.
Habe mir auf der Rush-Hompage für 16 Dollar die R30 - Blu Ray geholt. Heute gekommen. Hatte sie zwar schon als Deluxe-DVD, aber der Klang und das Bild ist hier um Längen besser. Gerade in vollen Zügen genossen und mich auch gleich wieder im Publikum entdeckt. Ein sensationelles Konzert mit einer Wahnsinns-Setlist. Kann es kaum erwarten, bis sie wieder auf Tour kommen.
Ist auf der Blue-Ray nicht auch die Songlist anders? Sind da nicht Songs drauf, die auf der DVD weggelassen wurden? Dann würde ich mir die auch ziehen. Kannst Du bitte mal ne Info dazu geben?

Danke FreiburgMaiden70. Du warst schneller. Auf der Deluxe-Edition hast Du dafür eine Disc 2 mit Interviews und einigen Live-Songs. Aber das komplette Konzert auf Blu Ray ist natürlcih der Hammer und damit um Längen besser als die DVD.
Geddy hat sich beim Q&A in London zur Weiterführung der Tour geäußert:
