ich kenn einen der das video schon hat, er ist hier aus dem forum, aber seinen namen sag ich net sonst wird der noch bombardiert, er soll sich selbst outen wenn er will, oder jemand anderer tuts für ihn
och joah sieht ganz nett aus. Eddie is wieder mehr Old School wie ich finde. Die Band sollte aber auch mitspielen, dann wäre das Video wirklich stark, aber so ein "Comic" is für meinen Geschmack a bissl eintönig.

It kicks off with a kind of oriental sounding intro - probably taken from a Radio Broadcast - then there is a fast paced drumming and powerful guitar riffs... Whow... it kicks ass !!! The Guitar soudns clear and speedy. The voice is high-pitched and screaming... It sounds like Halford on Helium. The guitar solos are great.
I read the lyrics... It is probably about a war in Asia. The chorus goes like this :
"Kill not your enemy Love not your friedn Turning in ecstasy We learn the DANCE OF DEATH"
Later it says :
"Gunfire by daylight - murder by night RUN TO THE HILLS on the voyage of your past..."
and then
"Your murdere's your saviour by strange circumstance A lesson in lies for the CHILDREN OF THE DAMNED"

Interessantes Interview. Hier sieht man auch wie die Band sich untereinander versteht und das Steve's übergeordnete Position akzeptiert und anerkannt wird, da er ja auch für Maiden hauptverantwortlich war über die ganzen Jahre, und die Band auf Kurs gehalten hat.
hy maidenfans noch 36 tage dann is es soweit hier eine kliene review der 1. 4 songs ...The album starts off with WD, the song that they play live. A typical modern Maiden composition, from Harris and Smith, destined to be the first single, standing righteously between BQOBD and The Wicker Man. A classic Maiden riff, cathy bridge, and a rather concert-orientated refrain make up the song. The solo is rather speedy and it is followed by a calm part, which slowly builds up again, until the refrain breaks in again, until the end. The next song is "Rainmaker" (Murray, Harris, Dickinson), a song that doesnt grab your attention at first listen but leaves you with the impression that it will grow on you the more you listen to it. Normal in duration, like WD, with a refrain rich in feeling and rather catchy, while Dickinson is heard in great shape and gives a great feeling to the composition. The melodic solo stands out in a song that promises alot. The album continues with "No More Lies", the first long song of the album. Harris' peronal composition, which's start reminds you of a mix between The Clansman and Infinite Dreams with melodic vocals, but after that the song explodes into the refrain accompanied by thunder-like drums and a very powerful preseance of the guitar. The guitar solo starts off in the spirit of the composition, while all the guitar parts are excellent. The refrain's power makes it very cathy, while Dickinson shows off his abilities at the end. The song ends like it started, leaving great impressions. The fourth and last song of the hearing session is "Montsegur". A composition penned by Harris, Dickinson and Gers, the last one giving an old-school vibe on guitars, which reminds you of NWOBHM. This is a straightforward, in-your-face song, which's war theme gives Dickinson the opportunity to sound agressive, while an epic feeling underlies. The powerful guitar and the strong rythm section uplift the song, while they're followed by a thematic solo and a trademark dual solo. the epic refrain is repeatred and the song winds up with impovisations, completing the hearing session and leaving great expectations for an excellent album by Iron Maiden.

Ich habe am Rock am Ring die neuen 4 Tracks gehört. Mein Eindruck ist gut, die Tracks sind schön Maiden, etwas härter als sonst und gut Produziert. Da wird nichts schiefgehen!
Hi Rammstone Wo hast du die denn da gehört? Du meinst ja wohl nicht Live, oder??? Hatte die einer als Raubkopie mit? Wo hatte der die denn her? Zu diesem frühen Zeitpunkt schon? Wenn ja würde mich ja mal interessieren, wo da bei der Maidencompany die undichte Stelle sitzt.

Rainmaker: > they said it was brillaint and worthy to be/sounds like Seventh Son Part 2 (not sure if they meant the son 7th song or the album.)
No More Lies: >Cross between Mother Russia and Fear if the Dark. Good song. Eastern feel.
Montsegur: >Superb song. They said this sounded really contemporary and will ease any worries about maiden being irrelevant. And they said the riff was very, very, very heavy!
Dance of Death: >A Great Maiden epic. Not much else said.
Gates of tommorrow: > they said it was like a slowed down version of die with your boots on crossed with flight of icarus.
New Frontier: > A very good short rocker song with a blistering solo, similar to Aces High.
Paschendale: > A top notch epic. not much else said.
Face in the sand/age of innocence: > I can't remember which on it was out of these two, but for one of them the reviewer said it was much alike to 2 minutes to midnight with that kind of riff. The other song shows 70s influences as it sounded very thin lizzyish.
Journeyman: > described as not really an album closer but an after album chill out track if you understand that. They were surprised that it was acoustic and applauded maiden for experimenting with this!!

Das steht im engl. Maiden Board...ich denke daher wirst du alle deine Infos haben, ist nett von dirt, da braucht man sich nicht immer durche diese Endlos Postings zu suchen!
