Jo mal schauen, also wenn keine CH Gigs gibt und es finanziell und terminlich drin liegt wär Italien sicher ne gute Möglichkeit. Zudem will ich umbedingt mal dort an einen Maidengig, denn dort scheint ja die Post etwas anders abzugehen als in der Schweiz
Aber leider ist Download ja viel zu teuer und das noch bevor man da ist. Also wirds wohl auf den Ring hinauslaufen, oder wir gehen in diesem Jahr leer aus. (Was ich nicht hoffe!!!)

Iron Maiden are looking forward to returning to Holland to play at Fields of Rock Festival for the first time and will close the festival on the first day on the main stage. Last year in November on their phenomenally successful “ A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH WORLD TOUR” they gave a stunning performance to 14,000 fans at Brabanthallen in Den Bosch which sold out in record time. Fields of Rock takes place at June 16 and 17 at the Evenemententerrein Walibi World in Biddinghuizen. Ticket sales start Saturday February 10th.
After the great success of the first 2 editions of Fields of Rock in the Goffertpark, the organisers have announced earlier the festival is moving to the Evenemententerrein Walibi World in Biddinghuizen. This year Fields of Rock again has a very strong line-up. Other acts to be confirmed at announcement include Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society, Motörhead and Life Of Agony.
The third edition of Fields of Rock is more than one day and has a camp-site. There will be 3 stages with a minimal of 15 bands. Beside to the main stage and the tent stage there also will be a smaller third outdoor stage. The names of the three stages will be decided by the audience through our website. News about the line-up for the three stages will be announced on http://www.fieldsofrock.nl. From now on all available festival information will be on this website.
Na dann werden Athen und Sofia ja endlich dafür entschädigt, dass Maiden 2000 nicht kommen konnten (wegen Janicks Sturz), ich hatte Karten für das Metal 2000 am folgenden Tag in Oberhausen, wurde dann aber gecancelled, und ich hatte schon gehofft, einmal Maiden im Line Up von 1983 - 1990 zu sehen, (nix gegen Janick, ey :-)

Da sind wir Leidensgenossen. Ich stand damals in Oberhausen auch vor verschlossenen Türen. Besonders Schade auch, weil Slayer und Motörhead damals im Vorprogram waren.
hatte sogar abends noch auf Ironmaiden.com gelesen was passiert war, aber eben nur im Forum, und es gab keine offizielle Absabe auf der Homepage, das war schon ein bíßchen schwach.
Richtig, das Vorprogramm wäre auch wirklich geil gewesen
Für 2008 hatte Bruce in MADRID komischerweise gesagt dass sie Songs von Powerslave,7th Son und PIECE OF MIND spielen !!! Entweder er hat sich vertan oder naja POM kommt nochmal hinzu

Was heißt ausser Powerslave etc.?? Dass nichts aus Powerslave gespielt wird?? Weil für mich sind das auch fast "alte Sachen"...und wenn nicht, was wird dann unter alte Sachen verstanden? Alles was davor kam???
