Also ich denke, dass wird heute nur die Sonisphere Bestätigung! Mehr nicht! Auf der Maidenhomepage steht nicht, wie sonst, irgendeine News, dass es eine große Ankündigung geben wird.. also von wegen mehrere Tourdates usw.. da steht nur "Watch this space..". Das wär eigtl. bisschen unüblich für Maiden! Falls die da wirklich mehrere verschiedene Tourdates ankündigen, machen die vorher doch normalerweise mehr "Aufwand".. Auf der Sonisphere Seite steht dagegen, dass es eine "massive" Ankündigung geben wird. Das würde nun wiederrum passen von wegen Headliner.. Warten wirs ab!

Na ja wenn Hockenheim auch ein zwei Tage Festival wird!? Ein Tag Maiden, der andere Metallica. Aber mit Metallica, Anthrax und Mastodon gleich 3 Bands die letzes Jahr schon dabei waren?

Hockenheim wird aber nach wie vor nicht gelistet auf der HP vom Soni.
Naja ich wart ersma auf die Deutschland Termine,ins Ausland würde ich wenn dann eh nur im ÄUßERSTEN Notfall gehen,dann wenn sie zb. nur aufm Wacken spielen....dann hoff ich mal wieder auf Assen ,da wollten sie ja eh wieder hin und es war klasse!

Iron Maiden, Rammstein to headline Sonisphere? United Kingdom | 09 December 2009
With a Sonisphere announcement expected at 6pm tonight (Wednesday), Thrash Hits look like they've gone and ruined the party by leaking the headliners early.
The website has picked up on a article on Iron Maiden’s official homepage, which reads "Watch This Space – December 9 - 6GMT" and suggested that the news will confirm they’re headlining the Knebworth event.
Thrash Hits have also revealed that according to a very reliable source Rammstein will be revealed as headliners too. Using a bit of guess work the site goes on to suggest Slayer will also play next year as well as fuelling rumours of appearances from Marliyn Manson and Fear Factory. Organisers are yet to confirm or deny any of the rumours, but following tickets going on sale for Sonisphere Poland this morning, metal and rock fans can expect the same for the UK leg this evening.

Sonisphere 2010 will take place at Knebworth House, expanding to three days, from 30 July to 1 August.
